Wacky Cake

Combine these wet ingredients in one bowl

  • 5 Tbsp vegan butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional)

Combine these dry ingredients in another bowl

  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened carob powder
  • 1 tsp coffee substitute
  • 1 1/2 cup flour

After mixing, combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Then add 2 tbsp baking powder and mix quickly but not for too long.

Put the mixture in the cake pan and bake at 350° for 25 min or until done!

∗I usually stick a knife in it to test if it’s ready. If there is still residue on the knife, bake it for another 5 min or until done!
